HiTech Returns To Isawo Road As Public Works Begins Patching of Roads

HiTech construction company, the construction giant handling the reconstruction/expansion of Agric-Isawo – Afa road, has returned to site on the order of the governor of Lagos Lagos State, Mr Babajde Sanwo-Olu.

Though, THE IMPACT gathered that the company commenced work on Tuesday, October 22,2019, but it could not be immediately ascertained if it is palliative work that would be carried out on the road which has become  a nightmare for residents since the company vacated the site several months ago due to alleged lack of fund.

As at that Tuesday, the company had cleared the waterlog along the Olatoye bus stop axis which has been in a terrible state since the commencement of the training season.

The company’s workers were also seen around Mechanic Village axis working  to make the road passable.

A resident of the area who spoke with THE IMPACT on phone also informed us that the construction company was creating drainage to allow fore as passage of water around NNPC area

Meanwhile, men of the Public Works Department of the State’s Ministry of Works & Infrastructures were seen carrying  out palliative work in Igbogbo early today with the patching of potholes on roads in the community with stones.
