It was a rapturous invasion of the city of great warriors and political capital of Southwest, Nigeria, Ibadan, by first class traditional rulers, politicians and eminent individuals from Ikorodu division as the former Clerk/Permanent Secretary, Lagos State House of Assembly and the re-elected Chairman, Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru and his beautiful wife, married an elegant and adorable lady for their son, Olowofela.
The venue of the reception, Emeritus Prof. Theophilus Oladipo Ogunlesi Multpurpose Hall located within the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan, was filled to its capacity on Saturday, May 4, 2019, as the Abiru family and their in-laws gathered friends, associates and well-wishers to join them in the celebration of the union of their children, , Oluwademilade Adedamope Adewole and Olowofela Ismail Abiru.
In the powerful entourage that accompanied Otunba Abiru and his family to Ibadan were royal fathers including the Permanent Vice Chairman, Lagos State Council of Obas & Chiefs, the Paramount ruler and the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Olubeshe of Ibeshe, His Royal Majesty, Oba Richard Ogunsanya and the Ologijo of Ogijo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kazeem Gbadamosi.
