Chieftains and members of the Team SOB 2019, the re-election campaign team of the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  for the Ikorodu Constituency I State Assembly seat,  Hon. Sanai Oyeniran Agunbiade, has got back on the road to carry on with their house – to – house campaign despite their involvement in a serious auto accident while on the same mission on Monday,  February 11,2019.

The team took their campaign to the  interior of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) yesterday (Tuesday) to  canvass residents to vote for Hon.  Agunbiade and all other APC candidates in the February 16 Presidential/National Assembly elections and March 2 Governorship/House of Assembly elections.

The campaign train visited Maya, Liadi, Araro, Mojoda, Aleke, Isiu and Adamo where the team met directly with people and groups.

The team also visited Tapa community behind Access Bank along Lagos road in Ikorodu Local Government.

It was turn of Ward G, Agura, on Wednesday , where the team also visited many communities and appealed to the people to vote for all the APC candidates.

According to Hon.  Azeez Jimoh Olosugbo, a Legislative and Political Advisor to the Majority Leader of the State Assembly, members have shaken off the unfortunate incident and ready to continue with the task of nation-building.

“We give thanks to Allah for his mercies over us since the beginning of the campaign. We thank Him for preserving our lives in the accident. We also thank all those that have been praying and sympathizing with us.

“Our members that are involved in the accident are receiving good treatments and we thank God that they are responding. Rather than sit around thinking about the unfortunate incident,  we are already back on the road to continue with the task of ensuring total victory for our principal officer,  Hon.  Agunbiade and other APC candidates in the coming elections .

“We are looking at the greater picture of ensuring that our country, state and constituencies stay on the path of greatness and not giving those that had ruled us for 16 years without anything to show for it any chance to come back to power.

“We are back campaigning for our symbol, Hon. S. O. B. Agunbiade and other candidates of our great party. And Insha Allah, we shall win and put Ikorodu at a very advantageous position within the state political calculations”, Olosugbo stated.

He also said that the team’s campaign for the elections would end today (Wednesday ) in compliance with INEC’s guidelines.

“For today (Wednesday ), we embarked on door-to-door campaign at Agura Ward G and it is the final of such campaign as we do not want to go against the electoral laws.

“The campaign has been fruitful and revealing and we trust that base on our direct interactions with the voters, there would be no problem for President Buhari, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, Hon. Sikiru Osinowo, Hon. Babajimi Benson and Hon. Sanai Agunbiade wining the coming elections with clear margin because people want the sustenance of the good  governance which our party (APC) is providing.

It would be recalled that Members of the Team SOB 2019 were involved in a ghastly motor accident on Monday on Ikorodu-Lagos Express road opposite Guarranty Trust Bank (GTB).
