It was an occasion to give praise and thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life as Chief (Mrs) Susannah Mariam Fapero Bisiriyu, on Thursday, December 20, 2018, held a special 70th Birthday Thanksgiving Service at the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Diocese of Ikorodu, Ikorodu Circuit at Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu.
At the service, the celebrant read Psalm 103 to commerate her membership of the septuagenarian club. The Scripture reading was taken from the Book of Luke 17: 11 – 19.
The brief event was attended by the children of the celebrants, family members, friends and well-wishers.
Chief Bisiriyu hails from Ikorodu and retired from the service of the Lagos State Government in 2011.
As a devoted Christian, Chief Bisiriyu has received Methodist Church Excellent Women’s Fellowship Susannah Award 2017, Methodist Church Ikorodu Women’s Fellowship Virtuous Women Award 2013 and Leader in Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria WOWINCAN Ikorodu Local Government Chapter
