LSUBEB Assures Lagosians of Quality Education

The on-going 13+1 Classrooms and Office Facility at the African Bethel Primary School, Erikorodo in the Ikorodu Local Government Education Authority of the State.

In its bid to provide quantitative and qualitative basic education in a conducive atmosphere, the Executive Chairman, Lagos State Universal Basic Board, Dr. Ganiyu Oluremi Sopeyin on Thursday led members of the Board to inspect the on-going 13+1 Classrooms and Office Facility at the African Bethel Primary School, Erikorodo in the Ikorodu Local Government Education Authority of the State.
Addressing pupils and stakeholders during the inspection, Dr. Sopeyin said that the State government was committed to providing quality basic education in a conducive atmosphere in all the 20 Local Government Education Authorities across the State.

He urged the pupils who are presently receiving education at a temporary site to continue to be of good conduct as the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is interested in their well-being and the quality of education they were receiving.
He noted that the contractor handling the project has assured that the project would be ready and delivered for commissioning before the handing over date, adding that most of the State Primary Schools Projects across were at advanced stages of completion.
Dr. Sopeyin commended the headteacher, teachers and other stakeholders at the African Bethel Primary Schools for their patience, support and cooperation in managing the pupils of the schools, stressing that all hands must be on deck to support the State Government to further raise the standard of Basic Education in the State.
