Hon. Benson’s iCare Foundation To Celebrate One Year of Feeding Constituents October 16

Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Babjimi Benson and his operational group, iCare Foundation, will tomorrow, Monday, October 16, 2017, mark a year anniversary of distribution food items to his constituents which is popularly known as ‘Apo Anu’ (Mercy Bag) .

500 beneficiaries are to benefit from tomorrow’s event which is scheduled to hold  by 10am at Hon. Babajimi Benson’s Federal Constituency Office situated along Ipakodo/Igbogbo Road.

Over 10,000 constituents have so far benefited from the laudable gesture since inception a year ago.

According to the spokesperson of iCare, the one year anniversary of ‘Apo Anu’ distribution will serves as the beginning of the increment of the beneficiaries from 300 to 500.

iCare FoodBank, an initiative of iCare Foundation founded by Hon. Benson,is a non-profit and charitable organization which buys food items and groceries and distributes them freely to indigent individuals and families in Ikorodu constituency.

Among items being distributed are rice, beans, milk and bournvita and others.

To mark the one year anniversary, iCare had called for nomination of those in need from the members of the public.Those to be nominated are elderly people, single parents, widows and physically challenged.
