Asiwaju Segun Adeyemi, former stalwart of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State and former Special Adviser to former Minister of Works, joined other PDP Chieftains formally declare for All Progressive Congress (APC).
The declaration which is taking place at APC State Secretariat,THE IMPACT learned was delayed till this moment due to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s insistence that it must be a grand event since Asiwaju Adeyemi and other decampees are major political players in the state.
Asiwaju Olusegun Adeyemi was a strong Network Chieftain and Leader, Lagos East Senatorial District. He coordinated late Engr. Funsho Williams Governorship campaign on PDP platform in Lagos East Senatorial District campaign and late Sir Michael Otedola’s Governorship campaign in Ikorodu. He was a former National Party of Nigeria (NPN) Chairman in Ikorodu during the Second Republic.
