Wale Jagun The traffic gridlock on the Lagos – Ikorodu road, on Sunday, left motorists and passengers stuck, and as a result, residents were forced to trek long distances in and out of Ikorodu. Both sides of the road were blocked and vehicular movement was at a standstill as impatient motorists and commercial drivers who drove against traffic compounded the problem. Dr Ajenifuja, who was buried in accordance with Islamic rites, was 94 years. The initiative of the lawmaker representing the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, which started about five years ago has on a monthly basis distribute bags of food items to vulnerable constituents, widows, widower, special people, senior citizens and others. The food bags usually contain rice, beans, indomes, spaghetti, groundnut oil, beverages, milk among others.
