In a gesture combining community spirit with a commitment to educational advancement, HOA Addicts, the support group of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has donated computer sets to two institutions that shaped the Chairman’s formative years: Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo, and Zumratul Islamiyyah Secondary School, Igbogbo.
The donation, made in honour of the Executive Chairman’s birthday, was received with enthusiasm by the leadership of both schools. The Head Teacher of Methodist Primary School and the Principal of Zumratul Islamiyyah Secondary School, jointly acknowledged the gift, describing it as generous and well-timed.
The gesture is extended to the schools at a moment when access to digital learning tools remains a pressing need across public basic and post-primary institutions in the locality.

Speaking on behalf of HOA Addicts, the group’s coordinator, Adeleke Aroyewun, Esq., described the donation as a deliberate act of institutional recognition and gratitude.
He noted that both schools have, over many decades, served as foundational pillars of education for indigenes and residents of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA counting the Executive Chairman himself among their distinguished alumni.
“These schools have quietly but consistently built the intellectual and moral foundations of this community,” Barr. Aroyewun stated. “Their efforts over the years have produced great leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and industry captains. This donation is a token of our gratitude and a recognition of that enduring legacy.”
He further expressed the group’s conviction that equipping both institutions with modern computing resources would improve learning outcomes and help develop the next generation of high-achieving individuals from Igbogbo/Baiyeku.

Aroyewun also said that the gesture carries significance beyond a birthday tribute, according to him, “it reflects the broader philosophy of community reinvestment that has come to define Omo’ba Aroyewun’s approach to public service, one that looks inward at the institutions and people that formed the foundation of his journey.
In directing his birthday celebration toward his alma maters, HOA Addicts set a clear tone: that purposeful giving and institutional memory are values worth modelling within the LCDA.”
Benefiting schools serve substantial student populations within Igbogbo and have long been integral to the educational landscape of Ikorodu Division.
The donated computers are expected to enhance digital literacy, support administrative efficiency, and position both institutions more competitively in an increasingly technology-driven learning environment.

HOA Addicts assured that the educational support gesture which is part of its commitment to community development and which aligned with the values and vision of the executive chairman of IBLCDA, would be sustained.
Other HOA Addicts (members) present at the presentation include Henry Ikuesan, Adewunmi Aroyewun, Ahmed Abdullahi (Bobomi Jnr.), Mojisola Idris, and Sheriff Sanni.
