To bring about good health and good living conditions, the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omoba Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has called on residents to make informed choices, timely actions and more importantly, that community must come together to work towards better conditions of living.
Aroyewun gave the charge in commemoration of the 2026 World Health Day, while stating that healthy living does not come by accident.
This year’s edition is themed, “Together for Health, Stand with Science: Appropriate Health Seeking Behaviour”.
”Health is Wealth, and it begins with you. On this year’s World Health Day, I extend my warmest greetings to every household, market, school, and corner of our beloved Local Council Development Area.

”This year’s theme, “Together for Health, Stand with Science: Appropriate Health Seeking Behaviour”, calls us to action. It reminds us that good health isn’t accidental; it’s built through informed choices, timely actions, and community solidarity”, he charged.
While urging Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA residents to always seek genuine information on their health situation, the council boss also emphasized that Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across the council, are equipped for their patronage.
”What this means for you: Trust Science, Not Rumors – Seek verified health information and professional medical advice, Prevention is Better Than Cure — Regular check-ups save lives and resources, and Our Primary Health Centres are equipped and ready to serve you.

”Together, we can build a healthier, stronger Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. Your health is our priority. Your wellbeing is our collective responsibility. Stand with science. Choose health. Act now!”.
