The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) has congratulated Christians globally on the occasion of Easter Celebration.
Hon AMA described Easter as the greatest victory ever recorded in history.
Easter which is a resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, which occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.
”My Dear Constituents, on this glorious day of Easter, I bring you warm greetings filled with joy, hope, and renewed faith.
”The required sacrifice was paid with His blood.
”The demand of justice was fully met. The tomb is empty— He arose today! And by His resurrection, a new kingdom was consummated for all who believe.
”This season reminds us of the greatest victory ever recorded — the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and grace over sin. It is a powerful assurance that no burden is too heavy, no situation is beyond redemption, and no life is beyond transformation,” AMA assured.
He called on Christians to always hold on to the truth while assuring them that Christ through his resurrection has given them new life.
”As we celebrate today, let us hold firmly to this truth: No one is condemned to the weight of sin anymore—only believe.
“In belief, there is freedom. In faith, there is restoration. In Christ, there is new life.
”May this Easter bring peace to your homes, strength to your hearts, and hope for a brighter future for every family across Ikorodu Constituency II.
