The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has reminded Christians in his council of the importance of celebrating Easter and urged them to adhere strictly to its guiding principles.
He called on them to love one another, forgive one another and ensure unity beyond the Easter celebration.
HOA gave the charge in a press statement commemorating Easter Celebration today.
”On this glorious occasion of Easter, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to every resident of our beloved Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area.
”He is Risen! These powerful words remind us of the ultimate triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and life over death. As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, may this season fill our hearts with renewed faith, hope, and boundless joy.
“To my Christian brothers and sisters, may this Easter bring you spiritual rejuvenation and draw you closer to the divine promises of salvation and eternal life.”
HOA further charged: “Let us use this period to reflect on the values of sacrifice, love, forgiveness, and unity that Easter represents. May we continue to live in harmony, support one another, and work collectively toward the progress and development of our dear LCDA.
