The much awaited memorial and special prayer sessions being planned by the committee of friends and associates for Late Mr Abayomi Kareem Oni-Orisan (Kalokalo) and Alhaja Kudirat Owolabi (C-Cash), will hold on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
Mr Oni- Orisan, a former Councilor, Ikorodu Local Government, and Alhaja Owolabi, a former Deputy Executive Secretary, Ikorodu Local Government, died over a month ago.
The memorial walk and special prayers are being organised by the committee of friends of the two late grassroots politicians, led by Hon. Sesan Dada, former Chairmanship aspirant, Ikorodu West LCDA, to honour them and raise funds to support their families.
According to the committee, the memorial walk, which has been scheduled to commence by 7:30am at the Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, will go through TOS Benson road and some major routes which will be released by the committee soon.
The walk will terminate at the Ita Elewa Youth Center where there will be special prayers by the christians and muslims, for the repose of the souls of the two grassroots politicians.
Also at the special prayer session, there will be tributes by selected individuals.
Members of the public are enjoined to be part of the commemorative activities in honour of the two late politicians.
