SGS Old Students Association 1991/92 Set Unveils 35th Anniversary Logo, Activities

Shams -el – Deen Grammar School Old Students Association (1991/92) set has unveiled its 35th year anniversary logo and programme of events.

The unveiling, which took place recently during a special parley of members of the set at the Fun Factory, Itamaga, Ikorodu, also witnessed the empowerment of members of the association with items like Deep Freezers, Sewing Machines among others which were distributed to deserving members.

Commemorative events lined up for the celebration of the 35th year anniversary of members of the set’s graduation from the school, and scheduled to commence from the middle of 2026 and run till January 2027, includes Career Talk with the current students of the schools; Debate and Quiz Competition among the school students; Donation of a project by the set to the school to mark milestone anniversary; Royal Reception/Visit; Dinner with the Chairman ; Grand Finale Party; Jumat Service and Church Thanksgiving Service.

The Chairman of the set, Mr. Yinka Majekodunmi who unveiled the programmes, called for support from members of the set and others for the success of the planned anniversary.

He also urged members to come together in large numbers to celebrate the milestone celebration.

During the unveiling of the anniversary logo and programs, the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), National SGS Old Students Association, Ikorodu, Alhaji Murisiku Raaji, donated the sum of N200, 000.00, towards the anniversary.

Also at the event, members that were empowered with various work aid tools to boost their economic growth, expressed their appreciation to the set for the gesture.
