The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) today joined hundreds of the Muslim faithful to observe the 2026 Eid -ul- Fitr celebration.
He observed his first Eid prayer as the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), at the Igbogbo Central Mosque praying ground along Oba Molaja Road, Igbogbo.
Omo’ba Aroyewun who arrived the Eid ground with his wife, children and aides where he joined the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos Ministry of Tertiary Education, Mr Waheed Kasali, Shadeen of Igbogbo Central Mosque, Councilor Basirat Banjoko, Council Leader, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Alhaji Yahya Andu, Alhaji Abdullahi Olawale (Bobomi), Alhaji Sulaimon Ayokunle, CEO Sula Bread and the Alakoso Adeen, Igbogbo Central Mosque among others.

Speaking briefly with THE IMPACT, Omo’ba Aroyewun congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan, which he described as a blessed and holy month.
He urged Muslims in Igbogbo and across the state to sustain the virtues that the Holy month has taught them by emphasising unity, love, cooperation and sacrifices.
The council boss reiterated his administration’s commitment to deliver good and impactful governance.
Omo’ba Aroyewun also enjoined residents of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA to look out for more projects and programmes from his administration for their benefits.
