The full rehabilitation/reconstruction of Oliwo Amoju/Olayinka Road in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been completed.
The administration of Omoba Hammed Aroyewun, the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, had about six months ago embarked on bringing back the strategic road which has been abandoned for about four years.
Our reporter visited the road project on Sunday to ascertain the state of the work.

The road which has collapsed for about four years and was abandoned during the administration of Builder Sesan Daini as Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, was the first project prioritised by Aroyewun with instant reconstruction of the road’s drainage system to ensure free – flow of water and to fully stabilise the road surface.
The laying of interlock stones on the road project which is in partnership with the Lagos State Public Works Corporation was completed last week.
According to a senior official of the administration, installation of solar street lights that will illuminate the road and fully bring back night life after about four years will be done next week.
