Igbogbo Loses Prominent Public Servant, Former Council Chair Aspirant, Kunle Bakare

‎The death of the Head of Administration/Council Manager, Amuwo – Odofin Local Government and the former chairmanship aspirant, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the last council elections, Mr Kunle Bakare, has been announced.

‎THE IMPACT gathered that he breathed his last breath in far away Indian last night, where he had gone for medical treatment.

‎He was 58 years.

‎Mr Bakare who was a leading aspirant in the chairmanship primary election of the All Progressives Congress last which Omoba Hammed Aroyewun won and later emerge as the candidate of the party.

‎The late public servant/ politician was the son of Chief Olatunji Bakare, former Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government.

‎Late Bakare holds Masters of Science (MSc) in Public Administration, Lagos State University, LASU, 2018 – 2019 and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sociology & Anthropology, University of Benin (UNIBEN) 1986 – 1990

‎Before his posting to Amuwo Odofin LGA, Bakare has served in the same capacity in Epe LGA and Lekki LCDA.

‎He was former Deputy Director of Administration/Council Manager, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Chief Administration/Human Resource Officer, Egbe/Idimu LCDA. Other areas that he had served are Principal Administrative Officer/Area Officer and Personnel Officer.

‎He was a member of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
