THE IMPACT :Can I meet you, sir?
Seidu: My name is Shakiru Moritan Seidu

THE IMPACT: How would you describe your nomination into the Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA Cabinet?
Seidu: Yeah, it didn’t come to me as a surprise. It’s a privilege to serve my dear community. So, I’ve done it in the past, and I think that the nomination was based on my contributions and efforts towards the upliftment of our party, the All Progressives Congress. So, I will call it a reward system of our party, and I’m happy about it.
THE IMPACT: Now, you have just been screened. How did you see the screening by the Councilors?
Seifu: The screening was very, very strict and official. I didn’t even expect that it was going to be up to that. I want to commend the sincerity and the effort of the leader of the house, Hon. Basirat Banjoko and the rest of the Councilors. They’ve shown pure legislative performance, and they gave a very thorough screening, and I’m happy I was able to scale through.

THE IMPACT: What were the questions that you were asked?
Seidu: They cross-checked my credentials asked about my past, and they asked about what I have for Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. They even urged that if I am given the opportunity to work for the council, I should work in alliance with Omoba Hameed Aroyewun, and make sure that the people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA benefit from this administration, and that the administration’s impact is felt at the grassroots.
THE IMPACT: What should the people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku be expecting from you if you are eventually confirmed as a Supervisor or Special Adviser?

Seidu: They shouldn’t expect anything less. We are going to make sure we make history. So, we are going to make sure we surpass the records of the past administration, and it’s not a boast. I know the capacity of the chairman, Omoba Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun, and with the support of his cabinet, I am very sure that this administration will put smiles on the faces of the people and make the LCDA great.
THE IMPACT: Have you being cleared by the Councilors for the cabinet position?
Seidu: Yes, I’ve been duly cleared.
THE IMPACT: Thank you.
