Ijede LCDA Hosts 2026 Annual Ramadan Lecture, Calls For Spiritual Renewal, Community Harmony

In the spirit of the Holy Month, the Ijede LCDA United Muslim (Staff) Association, under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, successfully hosted its Annual Ramadan Lecture on Thursday, 5th March 2026, at the Council Secretariat.

The lecture, themed “How to Attain Piety Through Ramadan Devotion,” was delivered by Sheikh Lukmon Al-Mubarak, who emphasized the importance of patience, intentional devotion, and maintaining good conduct within the community during the holy month of Ramadan.

In her remarks, the Council Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, thanked the guest lecturer for his insightful message and urged all attendees to embody the teachings shared during the session.

The guest lecturer further led the gathering in prayers for the continued peace, unity, and progress of Ijede LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria during this sacred month.

Notable attendees at the lecture included the Grand Chief Imam of Ijede LCDA, Sheikh Imam Suliamon Akinjobi; the Vice Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Femi Kabir; the Council Manager; as well as other council officials and staff members.
