The Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, on Thursday, sworn -in an 18-man cabinet as Hon. Olakunle Semiu Olambiwonnu was returned for the third term as the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG).
He was inaugurated alongside Supervisors and Special Advisers at the council secretariat.
Also sworn – in officially was the Chief of Staff, Hon. Lateef Raheem, who has been assisting the Chairman in the running of her administration.
The appointments followed their screening and approval by the Legislative Arm of the Ijede LCDA led by Hon. Basirat Kehinde, Leader of the 6th Legislative Assembly.

Hon. Femi Labor, the Vice Chairman of the council will also serve as the Supervisor for Works.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba congratulated the appointees, stressing that the roles are a mandate for hard work.
“This is not a position of honour alone; it is a call to serve the people of Ijede. The expectations are high, and we must work collaboratively with the entire council workforce, traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, and other stakeholders to ensure that governance is felt in every ward and every household,” she stated.
She further urged the newly sworn-in officials to remain accessible to residents, listen to their concerns, and provide actionable solutions to improve community welfare.

In his remarks, Hon. Aro Abiodun Moshood (AMA), Member, Lagos State House of Assembly and Apex Leader in Ijede LCDA, charged the new cabinet to be innovative, diligent, transparent, and accountable in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Hon. Abisola Abebiade Abari – Special Adviser on Women Affairs.
Hon. Owoyele Fashola – Supervisor for Environment
Hon. Akeem Shitta – Supervisor for Legislative Affairs

Hon. Kazeem Adele – Supervisor for Traditional and Chieftaincy affairs.
Hon. Sabiu Azeez- Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.
Hon. Taiwo Disu – Supervisor for Political Affairs.
