A senior official of the Lagos State Internally Generated Revenue (LIRS), and former Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu Local Government, Mr Ibrahim Olayinka Majekodunni, has been inducted into the Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG).
He was welcomed into the resource and economic development and professional organisation, on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, during the monthly General Meeting of the group.
Majekodunmi was officially inducted by the acting Chairman of the Group, Dr Mobolaji A. Olukoya, former Medical Director, General Hospital, Ikorodu, and Commissioner at Lagos State Health Service Commission, and Honorable General Secretary of the Group, Alhaji Fatiu Jimoh Salisu, Former Executive Chairman, Ijede LCDA.

At the meeting were also chieftains and members of the Group.
Speaking with THE IMPACT, Majekodunni acknowledged the role of the former Chairman of the Group and former Minister of Works, Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe, and other chieftains, in giving him and other young men the opportunity to be part of the elite group.
”I want to use this medium to appreciate my father and leader, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe who gave me and some young members a platform to showcase our intellectual skills, and opportunity to join in the development of Ikorodu Division.
”Also, I sincerely appreciate Dr Mobolaji Olukoya, Barr. Nurudeen Ogbara, Chief Tele Oduloye, Alhaji Babatunde Rotinwa, former Lagos State Head of Service, for the recommendation, believing in me, the words of encouragement and making my joining the Group a reality”.
