Political associates and friends of the late politician and APC grassroots mobiliser, Kazeem Abayomi Oni-Orisan, popularly called “Kalokalo” and late Alhaja Kudirat Owolabi known as “C- Cash” by admirers while alive, are planning a solidarity prayer and walk in their honour.
The planned walk and prayers which are slated for March 26th, 2026, is designed to commemorate 41 days of late Kalokalo and C- Cash’s death.
While Kalokalo answered the final call on February 3rd, after a brief illness, Alhaja Owolabi breathed her last the following day, after a prolonged battle with an ailment.

Other activities scheduled for the solemn event slated for Ita – Elewa Recreation Park are tribute renditions and health talk.
According to Hon. Susan Dada, former Vice Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA who is the planning committee chairman, the purpose of the special prayer and walk is to recognise late grassroots politicians who had contributed immensely to political development.
He also stated that the programme will also be use to raise funds to support the families of late colleagues.
Hon. Dada hinted that aside from the contributions by members of the planning committee, that notable politicians and stakeholders have also been contacted to support the group for the planned support for the deceased colleagues’ families.

Other notable members of the committee are Mrs Mojisola Dabiri (Secretary), Comrade Japheth Odesanya, Hon. Olasunkanmi Oshinowo, Mrs Omolara Abayomi, Mrs Kudirat Awobajo, Chief Fatai Atoloye, Chief Lookman Awomodu, Engr. Olalekan Lawal, Hon. Hameed Owolabi, Hon. Azeez Okematti, Hon. Leke Shokunbi, Hon. Bada, Mr Jelil Agunbiade, Hon. Adedeji Osho, Mrs Yetunde Okedairo, and Hon. Morenike Osokoya among others.
