Chief Bode George Leads PDP Delegation On Condolence Visit To Odofin Family In Ikorodu

Chief Olabode George, the Atona Odua of the Source and the National Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Monday led the main opposition party delegation in Lagos State on a condolence and solidarity visit to the home of late Hon. (Mrs) Saidat Fafowora Odofin.

Late Fafowora Odofin who died a few weeks ago was a former chairmanship candidate of the PDP in the last chairmanship election in Ikorodu.

He was accompanied by the Lagos State PDP executive elect, under the leadership of Barr. (Dr.) Amos Fawole. Others that were part of the delegation were State Secretary-elect, Mr Abiola Ismail; State Woman Leader-elect, Mrs Ramota; State Publicity Secretary, Dr Christopher Odianaremo; State Auditor, Mr Ahmed Lukman and State Treasurer, Mr Adegboyega Adegbesan.

In an emotional tribute, Chief George eulogised the deceased for her exceptional character and her unwavering commitment to the grassroots.

The political leader also highlighted her exemplary love for the common man, noting that her life was a testament to selfless service.

Chief Bode George pledged the PDP’s continued support for the bereaved family, ensuring that her contributions to the party’s growth would never be forgotten.

The PDP chairman in Ikorodu also speaking with our reporter described late Fafowora Odofin as an astute grassroots politician who has true love for her people and supported the downtrodden.

He said that she would be dearly missed and pray to God to give her family and party the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

On behalf of the PDP family in Ikorodu, the party chairman appreciated the national leader and state executives for the thoughtful gesture of love, solidarity, and support.
