The Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCD), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), on Saturday commissioned the new Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) at Ajebo, Imota.
During the commissioning, the LCDA chairman reiterated his administration’s commitment to security of lives and properties of residents.
The commissioning ceremony, which attracted the leadership of Ebute-Ajebo CDA, community leaders, and officers of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps across Ikorodu Division, marks another milestone in the administration’s efforts to support developmental initiatives, strengthen grassroots security, and ensure a safer environment for all.

Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele emphasising his administration’s commitment to the protection of lives and property across Imota LCDA, also noted that the LNSC post is a step toward enhancing prompt response to emergencies and a welcome development that will significantly improve safety and restore confidence among residents.
He urged residents of Ebute-Ajebo CDA to support the LNSC officers by providing timely information and cooperating with security agencies, emphasising that security is a collective responsibility.
The council chairman also assured them of the administration’s continued commitment to initiatives that promote peace, development, and improved quality of life for our people.

”Our administration will remain responsive to the security needs of our communities, strengthen community policing, and foster a safe and secure environment for sustainable growth across Imota LCDA, ” he said.
