Family members, friends and associates of Alhaja Monsurat Odumbo, a teacher, community, grassroots politician and wife of the Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu Local Government, have been congratulating her as she attained 50 years of age.
Alhaja Odumbo, who is the Woman Leader of iCare Foundation, the working arm of Rep. Babajimi Benson, representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, celebrates her golden anniversary today, Friday, February the 6th.
Announcing the milestone celebration on her Facebook page, the celebrant who was full of praises to God wished herself peace, good health and divine favour for the rest of her life.

“Today I celebrate another beautiful year written for me by Allah — a golden age filled with wisdom, grace, and quiet strength.
“My heart overflows with shukr for life, lessons, protection, and every unseen blessing.
“Ya Rabb, thank You for carrying me through every season and crowning my journey with mercy.
“As I step into this new year, I do so glowing with gratitude, wrapped in faith, and trusting Your perfect plan.
“May my days ahead sparkle with barakah, peace, good health, answered du‘ā, and divine favour.
“Alhamdulillāh for growth. Alhamdulillāh for becoming. Alhamdulillāh always. I’m Bismond,” Mrs Odumbo said.
Mr Tolu Omitogun, a friend of the celebrant in his tribute on her Facebook page, wrote in congratulations:
“Happy Golden birthday celebration to you Haja Monsurat Ayaba Odumbo.Pepe lewu nsaro,may Allah Ramah be upon you now and always…. Cheers to a golden jubilee.”
A retired school principal and former Treasurer, Ikorodu -Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Samson Afuwape, also congratulating the celebrant, wished her many returns.
“50 Hearty cheers to her on this occasion of her Golden age celebration.
“Wishing her many happy returns, long life and prosperity.”
Mr Sunday Oluwole Bisiriyu, in his own tribute welcomed the celebrant to the golden age.

A close friend of the celebrant and senior federal worker, Mr Abdulateef Bello, also felicitating Odumbo, said:

Emir Zakaryah Ibraheem Al-Fulany, described her as an amazing person who treats people around her with kindness.

Retired award -winning teacher and school administrator, Alhaja Abiodun Ogunniyi, also joining in congratulating the celebrant, wrote:

Mrs Bisi Bello Mustapha, a community builder and retired school head teacher, in her tribute rejoiced with the celebrant gleefully:
