Barely 24 hours after the sudden death of a former Councillor and prominent grassroots mobiliser for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Kazeem Oni-Orisan, the ruling party has lost another prominent figure, Mrs Owolabi Kudirat popularly called “C -Cash”.
Late Mrs Owolabi was the Deputy Executive Secretary, Ikorodu Local Government to Hon. Wasiu Adeshina who was later elected as Chairman for two terms.
A close source to Mrs Owolabi and who served with her in the Ikorodu LG cabinet confirmed her death to THE IMPACT.

He said that she has been sick for a while, adding that the death of late Oni-Orisan was announced to her yesterday but no one can establish if the news triggered her demise.
Mrs Owolabi, who was a teacher and socialite until her death was also a notable grassroots politician who worked with the former Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade.

She served in various capacities within the Onward Movement of Nigeria – the working team of the longest served state legislator from Ikorodu Division before emerging as its Director – General.
Her death coupled with that of late Oni-Orisan has thrown the Ikorodu APC into serious mourning.
