The leadership of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba officially flagged off the Measles–Rubella (MR) Vaccination Exercise, aimed at safeguarding children against preventable diseases and promoting a healthier future for all.

‎This critical immunisation programme targets children aged 9 months to 14 years, and also includes routine immunisation for children aged 0–23 months and HPV vaccination for 9-year-old girls.

‎During the launch, the council chairman noted the life-saving essence of the MR vaccine. She urged parents to cooperate with health officials to ensure the success of the week-long intensive vaccination drive.

‎Furthermore, well-trained and equipped health teams have been deployed to designated spots across the council areas to carry out this crucial assignment.
