The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo -Alogba, has described the emergence of one of her predecessors in office, Hon. (Prince) Saheed Hassan Adefarasin, as the Alajede of Ijede Kingdom as a significant milestone in the history of the ancient community.
The council executive who stated this in a statement congratulating the new monarch on behalf of the entire people of Ijede, also added that his emergence signifies the collective efforts of residents to work towards the development of the council.
“On behalf of the good people of Ijede, I am honoured to extend my warmest congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Hassan Adefarasin (Ajanaku II), on the occasion of the presentation of the Staff of Office and his formal installation as the Alajede of Ijede Kingdom.
“This historic event marks a significant milestone in the history of Ijede Kingdom. It stands as a testament to our resilience and our shared commitment to the continued growth of our beloved kingdom.”
Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba commended the new Alajede’s commitment and dedication to the development of his community and his leadership qualities.
