“Indeed, they are great and wonderful people in the society; the ones we can trust and they have the love of this community at heart. I appreciate everyone present here today, God bless you all.”
While stating that the Lord’s grace has shone upon the Imushin community through his emergence, Oba Bamgbose also clarified that his kingdom, Imushin, is different from others that bear a similar name.
“Today, we are celebrating the grace and crown of the kingship that the Lord has brought into this great Imushin kingdom, through my humble self, Oba Taiwo Adebunmi Bamgbose, the Onimushin of Imushin Remo land, the Wolagunshen and the Gbadewolu akoko.

“Our own Imushin is different from Mushin Olosha or Ijebu Mushin. We are Remos. IMUSHIN name is derived from the presence of the numerous ISHIN trees ( IGI ISHIN) in the whole community in the olden days and we consist of 18 villages which are all in the border line of both Lagos and Ogun state.
“So, because of this scenario, our matter in the presence of government is like that of AJA TI OROGUN MEJI NBO, EBI AMA DIJO PA SUN LEEKAN KAN, Ki Olorun ma fi ebi pa wa (we are being affected by neglect as bother town between two states). Don’t forget that we share boundaries with Ogijo, Agbede, Ishawo and Arepo communities. So, God knows the reason He has located us in this beautiful portion of land”, the royal father said.

Oba Bamgbose said that during the short period of his reign, Imushin has started the construction of a befitting palace, and hall projects. He also listed the completion of a Primary Health Center building in Elepete community by the RIDSCO, and also, the construction of additional classrooms at AUD Primary School in Edeyungbo community, Imushin, by the Ogun State government.
Also at the coronation anniversary and iwuye ceremony were eminent personalities, traditional chiefs and others.
