The Onimedu of Orimedu Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abidemi Toheeb Yissa-Oyedele, has conferred the title of Otunba Atunluse on Barr. Luqman Akinsanya, the founder of PEPC Foundation.
The title was conferred on the young philanthropist and community developer during the commissioning of 70, 000 capacity clean water project at Orimedu and distribution of 5000 packs of food items to residents.
Late Alhaji Kolawole Akinsanya, the father of the newest Otunba was also conferred with the same title at Magbon-Alade also in Ibeju Lekki.

The honour was bestowed in recognition of young Akinsanya’s consistent and outstanding contributions to the development of Orimedu in particular and the entire Ibeju -Lekki in general.
The royal father in announcing the conferment of the title declared:
“I am conferring this title on Barrister Luqman Akinsanya because of his impact in our community. If a child is doing something good, let’s appreciate him. It is not as if he is into politics or he is a government functionary.

“He is using his hard -earned money for the development of different towns. After a serious thought, and I don’t have any money to give him because he is already a multi-millionaire, I decided to honour him with the chieftaincy title of Otunba Atunluse.”
Otunba Akinsanya, had through his foundation constructed and commissioned a clean water plant last year in the Magbon community and has been distributing packs of food items tagged “Love Beyond Christmas” in Ibeju Lekki, Ikorodu and other parts of Lagos, during the yuletide season in the last five years.

He has also through his foundation been supporting education of thousands of students with the “Back – to -School” initiative through which he distributes exercise books, school bags, biros, pencils, sandals and socks to students in aid of their educational development in Ibeju Lekki and Ikorodu communities.
PEPC Foundation has also been supporting the Muslim faithful with food for breaking during Ramadan across the state and donated rams to people that least expected it among other humanitarian gestures.
