The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omoba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has commended Senator (Otunba) Adeseye Ogunlewe, a former Minister of Works, for his unparallel legacy which has continued to shape the political and socio -economic landscape of the Nigerian society.
Aroyewun, who also described the elder statesman as a true icon, gave the commendations in a tribute to Sen. Ogunlewe on his birthday today.
“On the auspicious 82nd anniversary of your birth, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to you, Otunba (Sen) Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe. I join your family and all well wishers to appreciate God for His mercy and grace in your life.

“We are happy to have you as one of our distinguished progressive leaders. We salute you as a statesman of remarkable influence, and a true icon of our time.
“We feel indebted to you for your contributions to the development of IBLCDA, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole. We acknowledge your unparalleled legacy that continues to shape the political and socio-economic landscape of our society”, he said.
Aroyewun, lauding the celebrant on his contributions to the development of youth, also singled out his impact in the area of education.
“Sir, that you consistently inspire young minds, serve as a guiding light, and mentor countless emerging leaders, is remarkable.
“Your passion for education is legendary as it endears you to many and earns you great respect everywhere.
“This passion is powerfully embodied in your transformative AOSTEM (Dr. Akin Ogunlewe STEM Education) Initiative, which contributes significantly in advancing quality education in Ikorodu Division.
“Through this visionary institution, you are equipping our youth with rewarding skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. You are also igniting a sustained passion for learning that will benefit our society for generations to come”.
The council chairman congratulated the elder statesman on his 82nd birthday anniversary and extended his best wishes.
“Sir, as you celebrate your 82nd birthday, I pray that Almighty God grants you continued divine health, strength, wisdom, and peace of mind to keep leading, inspiring, and transforming lives.
