The Ijede Local Council Development Authority has concluded a 3 – day retreat where members of the council executive led by Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, management team and the legislators had fruitful discussion on the Y2026 budget and strengthened the council’s financial strategy for the coming year.
This was a follow – up to the stakeholders’ meeting where the Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) engaged stakeholders to get their inputs into the 2026 budget preparation.

The retreat held at Daval Spring Hotel, Ikorodu, from 27th to 29th November 2025. It was themed “Budget of Infrastructural and Human Capital Development”, which underscores the administration’s commitment to investing in education, healthcare, skills development, welfare, and the overall well-being of Ijede residents.
Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, speaking at the retreat emphasised that the 2026 Budget will adequately provide for both recurrent and capital expenditures.

She added: “This retreat provides a vital opportunity to assess where we are, reflect on our developmental priorities, and collectively design a budget that speaks directly to the needs and aspirations of our people, for the success of the 2026 fiscal year.”
