Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, feliciates Prince Abiodun Ogunleye

The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, FCA, has felicitated His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State on his 85th birthday.

Prince Ogunleye, a chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) celebrates his birthday every November 1st.

The federal lawmaker and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, in a statement, commended the elder statesman’s exceptional leadership and commitment to good governance.

“On behalf of the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, we extend heartfelt congratulations to our revered apex leader, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, and distinguished member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on the joyous occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

“Sir, you are a great statesman, with exceptional wisdom, integrity, and commitment to the ideals of progressive governance.

“Your unwavering dedication to public service and the advancement of Lagos State has left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire many in politics and public service,” the Senator’s felicitation greetings said.

Abiru also acknowledged Prince Ogunleye’s leadership in Ikorodu Division where he said the forner Deputy Governor has been ensuring unity and stability of the system.
