The Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu Local Government, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, has announced strategic and transformational partnership with Dr. Akin Ogunlewe STEM Education (AOSTEM) Centre, for the advancement of STEM education in Igbogbo.
AOSTEM Centre has been in the forefront of inculcation of STEM education in students in Ikorodu Division, especially within the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, as well as supporting students with scholarship, free training and other educational supports .
Alhaji Odumbo announced the partnership in a statement, stating that the collaboration will deliver high – impact STEM training to pupils in Igbogbo.

“The Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu, is proud to announce a transformative partnership with the Dr. Akin Ogunlewe STEM Education Centre, aimed at delivering high-impact STEM training to pupils across Igbogbo.
“This collaboration was initiated during a courtesy visit by the Education Secretary, Alhaji Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo, to Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, an esteemed elder statesman, former Federal Minister of Works and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC).
“The conversation centered not only on educational empowerment, but also on raising endowment funds for indigent pupils, ensuring inclusive access to quality learning”, he said.

The Education Secretary also described the partnership as a milestone in the LGEA’s capacity development efforts.
“This initiative marks a significant milestone in our commitment to capacity development, equipping our young learners with the skills and exposure needed to thrive in a technology-driven future.
“We extend our profound appreciation to Senator Ogunlewe for his benevolence and support towards educational advancement in Ikorodu. Together, we are shaping futures”.
