Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Honours Best School Administrator In Nigeria

The chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has honoured Mrs Odenike Fausat Mobolaji who recently emerged as the Best School Administrator In Nigeria.

Mrs Odenike achieved the feat at the 2025 Presidential Teachers’ and School Excellence Awards held in Abuja, on the Teachers’ Day Celebration.

In her honour, the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA authority hosted a special reception at the council secretariat on Tuesday.

Speaking at the reception, Aroyewun commended Mrs. Mobolaji for her unwavering dedication, professionalism, and passion for nurturing young minds, describing her recognition as a well deserved one.

He also lauded her for bringing honour to the council.

“It is a well-deserved honour for a teacher who has consistently embodied discipline, leadership, and innovation in service.

“This remarkable national award speaks volumes about your commitment to educational excellence and your positive impact on students and colleagues alike”, Aroyewun said.

“You have brought pride not only to Elepe Community Junior High School, but also to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Lagos State, and indeed the entire Nigerian education sector”, he added.

The Chairman further noted that Mrs. Mobolaji’s award would serve as a source of inspiration for other educators within the LCDA, reaffirming that integrity, diligence, and excellence in service are always recognised and rewarded.

As part of the celebration, Chairman Aroyewun presented a special gift to Mrs. Mobolaji, on behalf of the council, symbolising the administration’s pride in her landmark achievement and its continuous encouragement of excellence among educators.

Also speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of lgbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Barr. Ade Ayeni, also congratulated the award recipient and encouraged her to sustain the exceptional standards that earned her the national acclaim.

He challenged her to retain the prestigious title in subsequent years, describing her achievement as a testament to the LCDA’s culture of hard work and academic excellence.

In her response, Mrs. Mobolaji expressed deep appreciation to the Chairman and the entire council management, for the recognition and warm reception.

She described the honour as both humbling and motivating, pledging to continue serving with renewed dedication, innovation, and passion for educational excellence.

The ceremony was graced by notable education administrators and dignitaries from Elepe Community Junior High School and Lagos State Education District II, Maryland, Ikeja. Among them were Ambassador Odenike Rasheed Abolanle, Deputy Director of Education, District II; Mrs. Adegbenle Idowu, Director of Schools Administration; Mr. Lawal Rasheed Bamidele, Principal, Zumuratul Islamiyyah Senior Grammar School, Igbogbo; Mrs. Olaniyan Joshua Toyin, Vice Principal (Administration), Elepe Community Junior High School; Mrs. Olaboshinde Titilola Iyawo, Head of Department (Science); and Chief Lanre Odenire, among others.
