RHODA Youth Centre Holds Etiquette Workshop For School Administrators, Teachers

Concerned about the standard of etiquette among children, a community based and youth organization – RHODA Youth Centre, is embarking on campaign to address the situation as a non – curricular activity for pupils in Ikorodu Division.

To achieve this, RHODA is organizing a workshop for school administrators and teachers to get them abreast of modus and key drivers of the project.

The workshop, which is scheduled for 9am at Homat Event Centre- Megalite Hall, Igbe, Igbogbo, holds on Saturday, October 25.

Each primary school in the Division is expected to send a delegation of three – the head teacher and two teachers.

Asiwaju Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman, RHODA Youth Centre, speaking on the forthcoming workshop, said that his organization is mindful of the critical roles that schools are playing in the upbringing of children and deemed it fit to start with school administrators and teachers.

“Our organization is concerned with the standard of etiquette among our children. We acknowledge that this challenge requires a comprehensive solution from all sectors of society. Mindful of the critical role of schools in shaping societal direction, we thought it wise to start from primary schools. Thus, we are bringing etiquette campaign as a non-curricular activity for pupils in primary schools in Ikorodu Division.

“The above workshop is to intimate teachers and administrators with the modus and key drivers of the project.
