The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson has celebrated his predecessor, Hon. (Mrs) Abike Dabiri – Erewa, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) on her birthday today.
Rep. Benson eulogising her in a statement, described the celebrant as a trailblazer and an inspiration to many generations.
“Today, on behalf of my family and the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, I heartily celebrate a phenomenal woman, a trailblazing leader, and my respected predecessor in the Green Chamber – Hon. (Chief) Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), on the occasion of your birthday.
“Your journey through public service continues to inspire generations – from your outstanding three-term representation of Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, where you distinguished yourself with passion and integrity, to your current national roleas a bridge-builder and advocate for Nigerians across the globe.”
Rep. Benson who is the Chairman House Committee on Defence, also commended his predecessor for being a good ambassador of Ikorodu and being inthe forefront of women empowerment
