Again, Rep. Babajimi Benson, of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has assured his constituents of quality, purposeful and people – oriented representation.
Rep. Benson who is the Chairman, House Committee on Defence, reiterated this Tuesday night after resumption of the House from a break.
The third term lawmaker, in a statement, also assured Nigerians that the 10th House of Representatives is committed to making legislation in their best interest.
“Today, the House of Representatives resumed plenary after recess. The break offered me a valuable opportunity to reconnect deeply with the good people of Ikorodu, listening to your concerns, sharing ideas and staying grounded in the realities that shape our constituency.
“While away from the chambers, I remained engaged in key legislative duties – but now, it’s time to return fully recharged for another season of impactful national service.”
Assuring the people of his determination for continuous quality representation, the lawmaker said:
“As your representative and a Chairman, House Committee on Defence and several other critical committees, I am more determined than ever to:
“Advance people-focused legislation; Deliver purposeful, results-driven oversight and Reinvigorate my representation for Ikorodu with renewed energy and vision.
“To my constituents and all Nigerians: be assured that the 10th House of Representatives remains steadfast in its commitment to legislate in your best interest. This is not just our duty – it is our mandate and the heart of our legislative agenda.
“Let’s keep moving forward, together, ” Rep. Benson charged.
