The premier college in Ikorodu Division, and one of the leading schools in Nigeria, Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, today, decorated new prefects that will administer the affairs of students for the 2025/26 academic session.
The school Principal, Mrs Iyabo Idowu Elusakin, led the management staff and others in badging Master. Onabanjo Quyum as the new Senior Prefect (Boy) and Miss Ajibefun Oluwajomiloju as the new Senior Prefect (Girl), on the Assembly ground.
According to the school, they were selected and badged for their honour and academic excellence.
Some of the others decorated as prefects were Pelewura Abdurahman (Assistant Senior Boy) and Aluko Rhoda ( Assistant Senior Girl).
While charging them, Mrs Elusakin reminded the new prefects of the need to be on top of their games in discharging their duties, while maintaining discipline and highest level of academic excellence.
The school wishes them a hitch-free year of service.
