The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Adedayo Ladega, has lauded the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, over the commissioning of the ultra – modern ICT centre which he facilitated at the Ikorodu Town Hall.
He also acknowledged the social and economic impacts of the Agbede- Ita Oluwo Road construction flag – off by the three – term lawmaker.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Prince Ladega, who joined Rep. Benson and other dignitaries at the events held at the weekend, described the projects as transformative.

“This transformative project, which underscores a growing emphasis on digital literacy and youth empowerment, stands as a bold testament to the visionary leadership of Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
“In a strong show of solidarity and support for Rep. Benson’s impactful representation, Hon. Ladega also graced the official flag-off of the 7.5 km Agbede–Ita Oluwo Road Project in Ikorodu North LCDA, a major infrastructural milestone facilitated through the office of Rep. Babajimi Benson, MHR.
“This strategic road project is set to significantly enhance inter-community connectivity, while unlocking new social and economic opportunities across the Ikorodu division,” he said.

The young council boss emphasised the need for collaboration and partnership among the political office holders in Ikorodu, to bring development into the local government and its federal constituency.
“The strength of Ikorodu’s progress lies in the seamless collaboration and shared vision among its leaders. From Hon. Prince Adedayo Ladega, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, to the Executive Chairmen of the division’s Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), and working hand in hand with Lagos State legislative representatives, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye (Ikorodu Constituency I) and Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (Ikorodu Constituency II); esteemed federal representatives Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson (Ikorodu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives) and Senator Tokunbo Mukhail Abiru (Lagos East Senatorial District, National Assembly); and key state officials such as Dr. Nurudeen Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, this formidable coalition continues to unlock new opportunities, drive socio-economic growth, and set Ikorodu on a path of unstoppable progress.
