Mariam Akinloye
The President of the umbrella body of youth in Igbogbo, Igbogbo Youth Forum (IYF), Dr Adeleke Oyenuga Dankuwo, has been conferred with a Fellowship Award of the Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG) by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
He was conferred as a Fellow of the Medical College on Thursday.
Dr Dankuwo is an Igbogbo – born Nigerian Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an MBBS from Lagos State University.
He holds the title of Consultant OB & GY at the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital (LIMH) and was a senior registrar who volunteered to treat pregnant women with COVID-19 during the pandemic in 2019. He is also a member of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria and has been involved in leadership and mentorship activities especially in his home – town in Igbogbo, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State.
He is the Medical Director of the Cute Healthcare Limited, Agunfoye, Igbogbo, an health facility offering medical services and assistance at the grassroots level.
Dankuwo is a Fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons (FWACS).
