The Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has assured pupils in Imota of an exciting 2025/26 academic session as they resumed back to their various schools today.
While further assuring the pupils of the positive things their resumption would bring to their educational development, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele in a statement today, also charged teaching, non – teaching and other stakeholders to ensure that they are at their best in delivering quality education to the children under their cares.
“It is indeed going to be an exciting new term, and I warmly welcome all our esteemed school administrators, teachers, pupils, and students back to school as we begin a new academic session today across all nursery, primary, and secondary schools in Imota Local Council Development Area.
“The start of this new term brings renewed energy and enthusiasm for learning, with many amazing opportunities ahead to enhance teaching and learning. I am optimistic about what promises to be a vibrant and rewarding first term of the 2025/2026 academic session.
“I encourage all our school heads, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff to resume with passion and commitment that will bring out the best in every child while fostering quality teaching and learning. On this note, I sincerely appreciate your cooperation, loyalty, and trust in our government, and I look forward to a successful and fulfilling term ahead,” Hon. Benson urged.
He also charged the pupils on the need to be disciplined and make themselves good ambassadors of not just their parents, schools and the entire Imota community.
The council boss again assured them that his administration care and is committed toward their goals and development.
“To our pupils and students in Imota LCDA, I urge you to aim higher in your academic performance. Always listen to your teachers and be intentional in your actions. Go out and make us proud. I am here, ready to celebrate your wins as you grow to become global citizens.
“As you strive for greatness, please know that I deeply care for you all. This commitment is reflected in our “Hi-SEE” Transformation Agenda, which prioritizes education as a core component, demonstrating my administration’s dedication to providing quality and inclusive education. The BSA and BOJ administration remains passionate about creating the best possible learning environment in a conducive atmosphere and is fully committed to promoting educational standards in Imota LCDA.
