The Chairman, Igbe Joint CDA (Zone 10 CDC), Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Comrade Isaac Faniyi, has once again charged the elected representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), to further action over the Igbogbo/Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Igbe Laara Road.
He charged him along with Ikorodu Federal Representative, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’oba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), to intensify actions in ensuring that the road which has been on for eight years is delivered in time.

In a statement on THE IMPACT platform, the community leader who also listed Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, GAC chieftain, Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe, another GAC chieftain and the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Alayeluwa, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, as political and traditional leaders that he also charged on intensifying action with the elected political representatives on not only the completion of the road, but also the state of insecurity in and around Igbe communities especially kidnapping; establishment of a public secondary school and equipping the new Primary Health Centre in that axis.
Comrade Faniyi, had in the said statement, titled, “Togetherness For Progress: A Call To Action In Igbe, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA”, commended the Ikorodu Constituency II lawmaker on his quality representation following his hosting of the 10th Stakeholders Meeting during which he also empowered constituents.

“May the Almighty God continue to strengthen Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), Member, Lagos State House of Assembly – Ikorodu Constituency II, in his passionate and people-focused legislative service.
“We earnestly look forward to his continued efforts, alongside other leaders of thought – Hon. Babajimi Benson (the Julius Berger of Ikorodu); Omo’oba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (Executive Chairman, IBLCDA); elder statesmen Baba O. R. Basorun and Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe; our royal father, Alayeluwa, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, among other important eminent leaders – towards: completing the Bola Ahmed Tinubu–Igbe Road, commencing Igbe–Ginti Road reconstruction.”
Other areas listed by the Joint CDA Chairman that his community wants sustained actions on were “tackling kidnapping in Ikorodu, establishing a public secondary school in Igbe, equipping the new PHC, and, providing recreational centres for youth engagement.”

He urged for support from residents with the elected representatives, political leaders and the traditional rulers towards his demands.
“On behalf of Igbe Joint CDA, I call all and sundry in Ikorodu Constituency II for synergy, progressive mindset, and constructive engagement (devoid of derogatory words) with our political office holders to achieve these goals.
“A few Igbe Joint CDA leaders attended the epoch-making event (by gracious invitation) with protocol eased.
“We presented our pleas both in the submitted questionnaire and through verbal remarks by our amiable PRO (Ag. Gen. Secretary).”
