Barr. Adeleke Aroyewun, joining the numerous well – wishers in congratulating Asiwaju Basorun described his life as a Masterclass that is worthy of study in leadership, wisdom and steadfast devotion.
In a statement today, Aroyewun who is the State Legal Adviser to the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), also said that the honour was in recognition of his contributions and a feat which will etch the elder statesman’s name forever in the Church history.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to you on the momentous occasion of your investiture as Grand Pillar Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church. This highest of honours, conferred upon you during the sacred celebration of the Church’s Centenary Anniversary, is a testament to a life extraordinarily lived in service, faith, and excellence.
“This milestone is not just to mark the celebration of a hundred years of the Church’s divine journey on earth, but a celebration of pillars like you whose unwavering dedication has been the very foundation of its growth and resilience.
“To be recognized as a “Grand Pillar” at such a historic moment is to have your name forever etched in the golden ledger of the Church’s history.

“By every standard and in every regard, you have earned the revered status of a sage. Your life has been a masterclass in principled leadership, profound wisdom, and steadfast devotion.
“You belong to that exclusive class of individuals for whom excellence is not merely an act, but a habit. Your distinguished achievements span the realms of community service, spiritual guidance, and public life, each undertaken with unparalleled integrity and a transformative impact that has touched countless lives,” Aroyewun said.
The young lawyer and leader further showered accolades on why Asiwaju Basorun is very much deserving of the highest honour stating that:

“Like the proverbial old wine that tastes better with age, your impact doesn’t seem to wane at 87 and so, this honour is far more than a ceremonial gesture; it is a fitting and deserved acknowledgment from the spiritual family you have served so faithfully.
“It affirms that your life’s work resonates with the very cherubic and seraphic virtues of divine service, order, and praise.
“Reading from a publication published by The Nation Newspaper on 30th October,2013 which aptly describes your political personality as one that reinforces the fact that Nigeria’s political turf has been peopled not only by political predators and opportunists but also by humane, pragmatic and visionary individuals.

“In agreement with the author, I make bold to say that you are the most pragmatic, experienced, informed and technologically driven elder statesman we have in politics today.
“Daddy, please accept my deepest congratulations on this well-deserved accolade. May the Almighty God, whom you have served so dutifully, continue to bless you with robust health, enduring strength, and His everlasting grace for many more years to come.”
