The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) and the Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA) have congratulated Muslims on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), today.
Muslims today are celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad known as the Eid – El – Maulud.
In different statements, the two political office holders congratulated members of the Muslim communities.
Hon. Aro, the state lawmaker in his own statement said that the celebration is all about life of peace, humility and compassion lived by the prophet.
“Dear constituents, Happy Molud Nabiyi. On this blessed occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I join you and all Muslims in celebrating a life of peace, humility, and compassion. May the lessons of love, unity, and righteousness which the Holy Prophet exemplified continue to guide our hearts and our community.
“We pray that this Moulud Nabiy brings peace to our homes, progress to our constituency, and blessings to us all. Let us use this moment to renew our commitment to living in harmony, showing kindness, and working together for the common good.
“Molud Nabiyi Mubarak to you and your families,” Hon. Aro wishes Muslims.
The Imota LCDA Chair, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele in a separate statement, charges residents to use the celebration to strengthen bonds, love and unity.
“Today, I join millions of the Muslim faithful in wishing our brothers and sisters in Imota Local Council Development Area a Happy Maolud Nabiy, the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“On this special day, I urge everyone, especially the Muslim community, to use the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday to strengthen our bonds of love and unity. Let us work together to make our community a better place by shunning actions that could disrupt the existing harmony and stability of our beloved Imota LCDA.
The significance of Maolud Nabiy lies in our ability to emulate the life and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Let us continue to pray for peace in our dear community, Imota LCDA. We must do everything within our best to avoid violence and actions that could harm our democracy,” Hon. Benson charged residents.
