As Muslims globally celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has charged residents of the council, especially Muslim faithful to use the occasion in renewing their faith and strengthening bonds as community members.
He stated that the renewal of faith and strengthening of bonds should inspire residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to be committed to a peaceful and prosperous council.
“On this blessed occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, I join Muslims across the world in celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
“This day reminds us of the timeless values of love, compassion, humility, tolerance, and unity which the Prophet exemplified. As a people and as a community, may we continue to draw inspiration from his noble life and strive to embody his teachings in our daily interactions.
“Let this celebration renew our faith, strengthen our bond as brothers and sisters, and inspire us to contribute selflessly towards building a more peaceful, just, and progressive society.
“I extend my heartfelt felicitations to all the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large. May the blessings of today bring peace, joy, and prosperity to our homes.
