Hon. Matthew Kolade Olufemi Arowolo, a Senior Legislative aide to the Speaker, House of Representatives, has announced that he will be embarking on massive road grading across the Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, in commemoration of his 45th birthday anniversary.
The legislative aide who completed two terms of eight years as a Councilor in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA in June, was one of the best Councillors in Lagos State and whole of the country during his time as a local council legislator.
In a statement today, which is 45 days to his 45th birthday, Arowolo said that the gesture is an act of gratitude for his people for giving him their mandate to serve them and also as a means of his support for the new Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) and the five Councillors in the council.

“As I count down to my 45th birthday in 45 days, I have chosen to mark this milestone with an act of gratitude and service to my people. In celebration of the triumphant entry of our Chairman, Hon. Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, and the 5 new Councillors, into the leadership affairs of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, I will be sponsoring a 10-day grading of our inner community roads within the IBLCDA.
“This initiative is both a show of support for the administration and a token of appreciation to the good people of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA,” he said.
He called on CDAs that are interested in having their roads graded to express their interest.

“I use this notice to invite nominations from the concerned CDAs, so that together we can identify and fill the potholes in the most necessary areas before the exercise begins, please note each ward will have 2 days of activities making 10 days in total.
“Above all, I remain grateful to our great electorate as we continue to demonstrate that we are still very much ready to serve with commitment and passion.”
