The Ikorodu Federal Constituency representative, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has addressed the pressing needs of Ipakan Community in Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), which is the lack of a transformer to ensure effective power supply.Hon. Basirat Kehinde, Councillor representing Ward A, facilitated the transformer for her ward.
The intervention which the Ijede council boss, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, described as a laudable act by a remarkable leader was delivered on Friday.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my leader and Oga, Hon. Babajimi Benson, Lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency for his remarkable leadership and commitment to addressing the pressing needs of his constituents by delivering a 500KVA transformer to Ipakan Community in Ijede LCDA.
“This laudable intervention, facilitated by Hon. Basirat Kehinde, Councillor representing Ward A, is expected to bring significant relief to the residents of Ipakan, who have long yearned for improved electricity supply. This gesture further underscores Hon JB’s dedication to the development of Ikorodu Division, marked by impactful projects, responsive representation, and a consistent commitment to the welfare of his people,” the Chairman said.
She also eulogized the lawmaker’s impacts across the Ikorodu Federal Constituency which comprises of one Local Government and five LCDAs, emphasizing that Ijede LCDA in particular has enjoyed his impacts in many numerous ways.
“Under JB’s leadership, communities across Ikorodu Federal Constituency most especially Ijede LCDA have continued to benefit from impactful interventions in critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, electricity supply, and community empowerment. The donation of the brand-new transformer sparked excitement among residents thanking JB’s support.
“Expressing gratitude on behalf of people of Ipakan Community and the entire Ijede LCDA, I affirm that Rep JB has truly proven himself to be a man of action and of his word. I am certain that the provision of this brand new transformer will greatly enhance the daily lives, boost local businesses, and improve the overall standard of people living of Ipakan.”
