The Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Prince Adedayo Ladega, has congratulated and rejoiced with the youth of Ikorodu who he praised as vibrant, creative and resilient.
Prince Ladega in commemorating the occasion, also reassured Ikorodu youth that their interests especially in the area of empowerment, formed a major part of his administration’s SEED Agenda.
The young council boss extended his warm greetings and assurance to the youth In a statement today.
“Dear Ikorodu Youth, as we join the global community in celebrating International Youth Day 2025, I salute the vibrance, creativity, and resilience of the young people of Ikorodu Local Government. Today is a moment to recognise your strength and reaffirm our shared belief that the future of Ikorodu rests securely in your capable hands.
Youth empowerment remains a cornerstone of our administration’s vision, and through the SEED Agenda — with its focus on Skills Development, Entrepreneurship, Education, and Digital Innovation — we are committed to building a system that supports your dreams, unlocks your potential, and prepares you for global relevance.”
He also assured them of his administration’s partnership and investment in them.
“We understand the immense value you bring to our communities — through your talents, your innovation, your voice, and your drive for change.
This administration is ready to partner with you, listen to you, and invest in your future through impactful programmes and opportunities.
As we commemorate this special day, I encourage every Ikorodu youth to stay inspired, stay engaged, and stay prepared.
