Hon. Motuntayo Gbadebo -Alogba, Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has called for more dialogue and engagement with youth to hear their concerns.
She said that it is through these engagements that meaningful and lasting development can be achieved.

Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba who is serving for the second term said this in a statement today felicitating youth on the International Youth Day.
“On this year’s International Youth Day, I proudly join the world in celebrating the vibrant and resilient youth of Ijede LCDA.

The theme of this year’s IYD, “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond” highlights the unique role of young people in transforming global ambitions into tangible, community-driven realities.
As a society, let us foster youth dialogues, encourage active engagement, listen to their concerns, and empower them to drive meaningful and lasting change,” she said.

She assured Ijede LCDA youth of her administration’s continuous support for the youth.
“As a government, we remain committed to championing youth-focused initiatives that foster innovation and create opportunities for future generations.”
